Ben is experienced and extremely knowledgeable in most kinds of natural plasters.
Earth and Lime plasters have fundamentally characteristics to cement plasters, which can often be inappropriate, as cement is too strong and therefore can be brittle. An earth plaster is easier to repair and will moderate internal moisture, they are also completely non-toxic. Lime plasters, being softer can accommodate movement due to timber expanding and contracting much better than cement plasters, which tend to crack. There is a significant proven track record of lime in construction.
Our plaster-pump machine means that we can apply earth and lime plasters in a fraction of the time it would take by hand. Get in touch for more information.
